Our Members enjoyed an excellent day of friendly collegial competition on the cricket pitch last weekend.
Nine of our Members took Sunday afternoon off to participate in the Inter-college Cricket Festival. The sun was shining, the sausages were sizzling, and the energy was palpable, as over 300 students gathered at Kensington Oval for the event.
The St Margaret's team played three games over the course of the afternoon, winning one game against Studholme College. The team played strongly in all games, especially considering that the majority of the team had not played cricket previously.
The Inter-college Competition provides an outstanding calendar of sporting, social, and cultural events throughout the academic year and we look forward to participating in the next events!
