Splendid colours at Formal Dinner

The College's Formal Dinner on Sunday, 12 August 2018 had an international theme and many of our Indian and Pakistani Members enjoyed showing off their traditional clothing.

Displaying their beautiful colours in the photo are, from left to right: Rutvi Soni, Anisha Chandra, Karen Suresh, Pooja Bhatt, Dr Latika Samalia (guest), Nikki Jivani, Mehrbano Malik (Pakistan), Priya Patel and Keerthana Ananth.

Our guests for Formal Dinner all have international backgrounds themselves: Associate Professor Ben Daniel is from Sudan; his wife Michelle Daniel is from Canada; and Dr Latika Samalia and her husband KP are from Fiji. The Master, Dr Charles Tustin, and his wife, Brenda Tustin, are from South Africa.

Only 52% of College Members were born in New Zealand. Twenty three (23) countries by birth are represented by Members. A miniature united nations so to speak; a very colourful and cultured community we are!
