Second in tough basketball final

The College's mixed basketball team played in the Inter-college finals on 20 August 2017 against a Uniflats team and achieved a proud second place in the competition.

Supported by many St Margaret's Members, the mixed basketball team gave their very best against an excellent Uniflats team on Sunday evening.

Although they didn't win the game, coming second in a competition comprising 24 teams is a wonderful achievement, particularly bearing in mind that this is the first year that the College has participated in the University's Inter-college Sports Competition.

Immediately after the mixed game, the men's team took to the court to play their final game of the season. Once again, it was an exciting and tough game which also didn't end with a win unfortunately.

The accompanying photos and two brief video clips provide a little glimpse into Sunday's two basketball games played at Unipol.

The College is very proud of all its sports teams this year and expresses its sincere appreciation to all who have played, coached, managed and supported. Thank you everyone.
