SPCA dog squad visits the College

On Wednesday 18th of October, St Margaret's was lucky enough to receive the best kind of de-stress fix: puppy therapy!

During stressful times such as exam season it's important to take time to relax and decompress.  Volunteers from the Otago SPCA came for a visit, bringing with them three furry friends by the names of Martin, Bart and Jack.

Universities all over the world are embracing pet therapy as a means of lowering stress levels in students and for several years now, Otago University has been a part of Cuddle Fix. The benefits are excellent, not just for stressed out students but for the animals themselves, who learn valuable socialisation skills.

All in all an extremely relaxing day for St Margaret's, and the perfect way to kick off exams!
