Pleasant outdoor final meeting

Dunedin's present heatwave prompted the Master to convene an outdoor meeting of the Welfare Staff on 31 October, accompanied of course by ice creams from the infamous Rob Roy Dairy.

Rather than meet inside on a rather hot 21 degree blue skies day, the Welfare Staff were very quick to accept the Master's offer of an ice cream and an outdoor venue for their final meeting of the year.

After an enjoyable group walk to the Rob Roy Dairy, the luscious green lawns outside the University Union proved irresistible and the final bit of business for the year was conducted at ground level.

The happy smiles in the accompanying selfie, expertly snapped by Sandra Mathew, suggest it was a successful and enjoyable final meeting for the members of the 2017 Welfare Staff team.
