Kathryn Fitzpatrick (nee Leigh), the President of the 1989 Student Executive Committee, enjoyed visiting the College on 26 May and sharing President "talk" with the 2017 President, Xavier Parackal.
Some 28 years after leaving the College, Kathryn Leigh, paid the College a lunch visit together with her mother, Jeannette, who is a friend of the Master. She enjoyed looking around the College and noted the many changes to the buildings and facilities. Kathryn was President during Dr Norris's (our previous Master) first year at the College.
Afterwards, she said it was "hilarious to chat with Xavier" and share experiences of College life. She hopes to bring one of her sons to the Tertiary Open Day in 2018, in anticipation of him possibly studying at Otago the following year and perhaps staying at St Margaret's.
Kathryn works as a Senior Communications Adviser for the Energy Efficiency and Conversation Authority (EECA), a government agency in Wellington.
