The 13 College Leaders penned the following welcoming email which was sent to all Members in the week prior to arrival weekend:
Welcome to the St Margaret’s College Whanau.
As your College Leaders for 2019, we are super excited to meet you all! We wanted to let you know our roles and about what to expect upon your arrival to the College.
There are 13 of us in the College, one living on each of the 11 floors and one in each of the two houses. Although one of us will be your floor’s/ house College Leader, feel free to talk to anyone on the team.
All of us are here to help you with any questions or concerns you may have - nothing is too minor!
We also organise floor events for you to participate in throughout the year. The details of the events will be explained to you as they arise.
When you first arrive at the College, we will be in the foyer ready to welcome you, show you to your room and help you get settled in. We know that for most of you this is your first time living away from home, but we are here to make your transition to university a little smoother.
