The University of Otago offers students many opportunities to study abroad for a semester or two as part of their degrees.
A special information session was held at the College on the evening of 10 May 2018 and 13 of our Members attended to hear more about Otago's popular Student Exchange Programme.
The session was led by Graeme France from the University's International Office and Nicole Warren, a student who has recently returned from undertaking a semester at McGill University in Canada.
Our Members learned that planning for their future exchange experience is very important and should begin as soon as possible. Otago makes exchange easy:
- You only pay the standard Otago tuition fees
- Each student receives an Otago Global Travel Grant of $1,000
- Exchange scholarships are available for eligible students
- You continue to receive StudyLink loans and allowances
- There are 100 partner universities around the world to choose from
- There are specialist Exchange Advisers in the University's International Office who can assist you with your planning
Further information about the exchange programme can be found on the University's student exchange website or by contacting one of the Exchange Advisers.
