Two teams from the College participated in the weekend's Inter-college Chess Competition with one team taking second place.
Each college could enter two teams in this year's competition which was held in the School of Business Atrium on Sunday afternoon. St Margaret's two teams comprised Max Lough and Arthur Chia, and William Wu and Ben Kong.
It was an intense afternoon of chess, starting at 12.30 pm and ending around 4.40 pm. Our two teams did really well which was wonderful. In the final round, Arthur and Max took on the Locals team which managed to beat them by a hair's breadth, hence the College taking second place. Congratulations to Arthur and Max!
