Just in time for the All Blacks - Wallabies rugby games in August 2017, the College arranged for a popular enhancement of the facilities in the Valentine Common Room.
If one can't attend an actual sport event, you certainly want to see it on a big screen together with many friends, not so? To facilitate this for Members, we recently introduced additional technology in the Valentine Common Room (VCR) which allows for Sky channels to be projected on to the very big screen that is usually used for PowerPoint presentations.
This new feature was inaugurated on 19 August by the live showing of the first Bledisloe Cup rugby game, followed a week later by the second game. It was immediately popular and drew a large crowd of enthusiastic Members, including our Australians, on both occasions.
