The Inter-college chess trophy returned to the College on the weekend thanks to the wonderful efforts of our two participating teams.
The College has won the trophy twice before, in 2018 and 2021 and came second in 2020, so it was wonderful to have the trophy back at the College in 2022!
In the seven years that the competition has been going, St Margaret's has now won it three times.
Two teams represented St Margaret's in this year's annual Inter-college Chess competition, namely Arthur Chia and William Wu, and Zishen Fu and Paxton Hall. Arthur and William were also part of the winning team in 2021.
The Competition took place in the staff room of the University's Teachers College on Saturday afternoon, 7 May, starting at 12.30 pm and concluding at 3.30 pm.
The College thanks our four chess masters and congratulates them on winning the competition.
