Members were treated to the most amazing display of talent on the evening of Sunday, 26 September during the College's Annual Art Competition.
Sixty-nine entries from 38 Members were on display in the Valentine Common Room for Members to enjoy after our Appreciation Sunday Dinner in the Norris Dining Hall.
The competition was ably organised by the President of the Members' Association Executive, Rida Fatma, and comprised four sections, namely drawing, painting, photography and other.
Competition judges were local artists Pauline Bellamy (also a College Fellow) and her husband John Bellamy of Bellamys Gallery in Macandrew Bay. The two judges spent about 90 minutes during the afternoon viewing the art and making their decisions, which they said was very challenging indeed given the high quality of work entered in the competition.
