In recent years, the Executive's beach trip was held a little later in the first semester. This year, however, the Executive decided to hold it on the final Sunday (25 February 2018) of Orientation Week.
And what a good decision it was. Over half the College’s Members "took over" Dunedin’s St Clair’s beach on a gorgeously warm day (25 degrees) with only a very gentle breeze blowing.
They swam, ran, built sandcastles, played on the dunes and enjoyed fish and chips for lunch. A great day overall. As lectures hadn't started yet, Members could enjoy a day out with not a care in the world!
