The St Margaret's cricket team won all three of their games to reach the finals in the Recreational Division of the Inter-college Cricket Festival held on Sunday afternoon, 4 March 2018.
The festival was a wonderful event and occurred in perfect cricket weather at Logan Park. Our team was one of 16 in the Recreational Division while 20 teams participated in the Competitive Division.
Having won all three of their games, the St Margaret's team went up against a Unicol team in the finals. Unfortunately Unicol managed to win the game by a narrow margin of just 14 runs.
Well done to the St Margaret''s team for performing so well in the competition by achieving second place. All enjoyed a great Sunday afternoon of cricket.
