Last Sunday (9 August 2020), the College celebrated our amazing international community at a special Formal Dinner in the Norris Dining Hall.
An inspiring talk on the activities of the Otago Rescue Helicopters, and of the sterling efforts of those who work to provide them with funds to bolster the Government funding and provide some very interesting medical equipment.
Norcombe Barker was born the year after his parents bought Larnach Castle and has since played a major role in rescuing it from a ruin to a very successful and still developing enterprise employing many people, but along came Covid-19.
What a difference a day makes! Immediately upon the country moving from Alert Level 3 to 2 on 14 May, it was if the College re-awakened, and chattering and laughter returned to the hallways after a rather sombre and long lockdown of 49 days (33 days in Level 4 and 16 in Level 3).
