St Margaret's College was privileged to host the 54th Otago Foreign Policy School during the last weekend in June.
During the semester one exam season, Cat Rescue Dunedin brought kittens to the College to provide a well-deserved study break for Members.

The St Margaret's College Choir had the honour of singing the beautiful Wairua Tapu during the Graduation Service of Thanksgiving on Saturday, 11 May 2019.
In a lively and interesting session, Prof Colombo compared university education here and in the USA, the advisability of gaining as wide an education as possible, developing generic skills and his team’s research on how memory is coded in the brain.
St Margaret's entered two teams (two people per team) in the recent Inter-college Chess Competition held in the Business School. All up 24 teams participated in an extremely tough.
Saturday morning was a very early 3.30 am start for those Members participating in the College’s Mystery Bus Trip.

The College was placed joint first in the recent Inter-college Visual Arts Competition held on Sunday, 14 April 2019.

As many will know, regular Wednesday Expert Breakfasts and Sunday Formal Dinners are unique features of St Margaret's College.
Twice each year, in autumn and spring, I circulate an Update newsletter for parents, caregivers and guardians to help keep them informed about life at the College. Thank you for reading this autumn edition which I hope you will enjoy.
All are reminded that at the end of the academic year in November, Members should leave 24 hours after their last exam or Sunday, 10 November 2019, whichever date is the earliest.
Associate Professor Christine Jasoni is an accomplished researcher, teacher and enthusiastic science communicator, and we were treated to an excellent demonstration of those qualities, along with her engaging sense of humour.
